Different perspectives when dealing with trials and tribulations. Sabr with difficulties. Four degrees of possible responses people may have when dealing with afflictions. When encountering a difficulty, a person could have one of the following responses:
1. Look at the rewards in store for dealing with difficulty with patience
2. Be in a state of absolute surrender (istislam) to the divine decree that He only brings about the difficulty and He only can remove it.
3. To be so preoccupied by the love for Allah that they lose sight of the desire for the tribulation to be removed.
4. The highest level is to experience actual delight and pleasure with the difficulty itself.
