This episode reflects on verses 47-52 wherein Yusuf offers his interpretation of the king's dream as well as his advice. What was the wisdom behind Yusuf's refusal to leave the prison before being exonerated of the false charges that landed him in prison. It also analyzes the dialogue between the king and the women who cut their hands, and the confession of Zulaykha. Lastly the identity of the speaker in verse 52 is investigated as to whether it was Yusuf or Zulaykha, and the implications of each.

This episode examines the prophesies of fitna foretold by the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), starting with the first fitnas that emerged after the killing of Sayyiduna 'Umar: the assassination of Sayyiduna 'Uthman, the battles of Jamal and Siffin, and the rise of the Khawarij rebel group during the reign of Imam 'Ali, and which was prophesied to reappear in every generation, the last of whom would follow the Dajjal.

Sadness and Depression are real. There is a spiritual, mental and biological paradigm that one needs to consider when it comes to depression and anxiety. Struggling with mental illness doesn't diminish one's faith, nor should they be viewed as lacking in their certainty in Allah and His messenger.

Question: The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is considered to be 'Ummi'. Is this a reference that he ﷺ categorically could not read and write or is it instead a reference that he ﷺ was untaught by man? There are some circles that deny the former position outright and advocate the latter meaning of 'Ummi' as the only orthodox view.
